children’s eye exams
Looking After Young Eyes, Together.
Good vision is important for learning, confidence and development. We make children’s eye examinations relaxed and reassuring, with tests tailored to suit their age; even for children who are too young to read letters. If glasses are needed, we offer a wide choice of frames and free NHS eyewear options.
We also provide support for myopia (short-sight) management, helping to slow the progression of changing prescriptions as children grow.
Our optometrists will explain everything clearly and recommend the most suitable approach for your child’s needs and lifestyle.

We offer one of the widest selections of frames in the Midlands, with thousands of styles across our practices.
From everyday value to designer brands, our team will help you find glasses that fit comfortably, suit your style and feel right for you.

Everyone is really friendly, welcoming and put you at ease. I felt very comfortable having my eyes tested here and really appreciate the assistance in choosing my new glasses.
Really pleasant experience. Had some unpleasant experiences of opticians in the past, but found D I Blows to be a really nice place with warm and welcoming staff. Nice chat with the optician who put me at ease. Highly recommended.
Wide selection of glasses a fair few in a reasonable price range as well. Dan the optician is fantastic too.
